This is Ben. See Ben Jeep.

For those of you who have never actually met or seen my husband....meet Ben. Yes, he does exist and, no, I didn't make him up or pay someone to let me take their picture.
I might add he is a rather handsome devil (but I might be biased). ;P

Ben owns a landscaping company called Ridges Rocks and Landscape. His primary service is delivery of landscaping materials such as gravel, top soil, mulch, etc. He also does rock work such as retaining walls and water features. He likes to be out in the sun and heat.

Ben loves to build toys...big toys....expensive toys.
He is now building a Jeepster from nothingness. This will be his toy when we go play in Moab.
Ben loves Moab. See Ben Jeep.
A little known fact...Ben is a true cowboy at heart. He is trying to convince me to move away somewhere desolate to own a ranch and farm and raise our kids in 4H. He also loves country music. Betcha didn't know that. I love my cowboy. :D
Ben loves Big Trucks!
Ben loves to camp. See Ben chop.
See Ben whittle.
See Ben build.
See Ben shoot.
See Ben eat dutch oven bacon....mmm.

Ben loves Zion. See Ben stand.
Ben loves to have his picture taken. See Ben ruin Sara's fun.

I love my Ben.

Warning to all Parents!

I am sure you have all heard of Dog vs Child attacks. Possibly even in your neighborhood or within your family.

If you have a dog that belongs to a 'dangerous breed' category and you also have a small child, please take this warning seriously. Don't leave your dog with the child unattended under any circumstances. Only a very short moment was enough for the following spontaneous outburst to happen. See the photo: (WARNING: Picture may be too graphic for some)

NOTE: The above warning also applies to very lazy white cats or albino rats.

HEADLINES

This took place in Charlotte North Carolina.
A lawyer purchased a box of very rare and expensive cigars, then insured them against, among other things, fire. Within a month, having smoked his entire stockpile of these great cigars, the lawyer filed a claim against the insurance company. In his claim, the lawyer stated the cigars were lost in a "series of small fires." The insurance company refused to pay, citing the obvious reason, that the man had consumed the cigars in the normal fashion. The lawyer sued and WON!
Delivering the ruling, the judge agreed with the insurance company that the claim was frivolous. The judge stated nevertheless, that the lawyer held a policy from the company, in which it had warranted that the cigars were insurable and also guaranteed that it would insure them against fire, without defining what is considered to be unacceptable 'fire' and was obligated to pay the claim.
Rather than endure lengthy and costly appeal process, the insurance company accepted the ruling and paid $15,000 to the lawyer for his loss of the cigars that perished in the 'fires'.
Now for the best part...
After the lawyer cashed the check, the insurance company had him arrested on 24 counts of ARSON! With his own insurance claim and testimony from the previous case being used against him, the lawyer was convicted of intentionally burning his insured property and was sentenced to 24 months in jail and a $24,000 fine.
This story won First Place in last year's Criminal Lawyers Award contest.

This was awesome. Thanks Camille!

Cha-Cha-Cha-Chia...Lawn

We are trying some new seed/mulch stuff we found at a garden store to see if it will help the lawn grow back super quick. We are also trying a different fertilizer used often for dog spots. I'll let you know if it works!

And then.

Sorry I've been slacking lately on the posting.
Good times...
If it makes you feel any better....I spilled pink lemonade all over my license application.
...and turned it in like that. :D

Anyway....in case you didn't know or I haven't mentioned it a billion times....I'm Gradeating. In 2 days. The pharmacy color for the tassel and hood and stuff is puke green. Pretty cool. I guess they call it sage....looks like puke to me. I'll show you when I get some pictures on Friday.

Oh...and we found a good home for Charlie. We just didn't have the time that he needed or a fenced yard he could run in. It is sad to see him go because he was a part of the family. :( Even though it is hard, it is better for everyone.

What else....
Hhmmm.....
I moved to Bountiful....did I tell you that already? Probably.

..tap..tap...tap...
Is this thing on?....
