Wow!!...Not Recommended!!

Hey everyone!
So, I did a century on Saturday (100 mile bike ride) for MS without a single day of training...last time I was on my bike was pretty much September last year. Wow!...Not recommended without training! I don't know what gave me the inclination that I should do it. However, I am glad I did it now that it's over. I can put that on my list of things I did in life (and I have a patch to prove it!). That said...I will probably never do a century again.
Actually riding isn't what makes me not want to do it again...but the aftermath. I am sunburned (SPF 4 didn't quite cut it!), my butt hurts, my hands are numb (this is what I don't like the most), I am dehydrated and generally sorer and weaker than when I started.
Enough whining...it was actually a really beautiful ride. I wish I could have taken some pictures. I have never seen such vivid green plants before. There were so many different types of birds that I could see and hear.
I also saw many different kinds of roadkill...some recognizable...some not.
I had a great time but I am glad it's over.
I will post some pictures from the ride when they are posted by the photographers.
Thanks again everyone for allowing me to have this great experience!

Which Disney Princess Are You?

This was fun. Thanks Al! Here is my result.

You Are Mulan!

Image hosted by Photobucket.comStrong and spirited. You're no one's girly girl; actually you are very determined person with a strong sense of self. Never let go of that! The only thing that equals your sense of self is your family, but the traditions of society can always be bent to protect something or someone you love.

Congratulations Dane and Charlotte!!

My brother got married in the Salt Lake temple yesterday to a wonderful girl named Charlotte. It was a fabulous day! They had a ring ceremony in the morning, were sealed in the afternoon and had a fun reception up at Milcreek Inn (in Milcreek canyon) in the evening. It was beautiful up the canyon! Everyone should go for a drive up there I say. If I could only figure out how to get my pictures off my camera...?! :)

P.S. Their first dance was to rainbow connection, hence the song playing. Enjoy.

Uinta Vacation For Me!!

Ben and I just got back from a trip to the uintas. It was long overdue and definitely relaxing. We found a nice meadowy nook next to a rushing river. We spent the day reading, walking about, listening to country music, watching movies, cooking...whatever our little hearts desired...and it was wonderful! I had a little accident involving me, a potatoe and a knife but I made it out alive. One night while we were enjoying the fire, a couple came out of the woods and handed me a baby duckling. They didn't speak much english but enough to ask us to find it's mother in the morning. It was so cute. I think ben blinded it trying to take its picture with the flash on. I will post the pictures when I figure out how to download them to my PC.
Overall, it was a very relaxing, rejuvenating trip.

Support Multiple Sclerosis

Hey Everybody!
Thanks to all of those who have supported my MS fund raising.

To date, you have helped raise $158, which is over 50% of my goal (63%!). My fund raising goal is $250. Great job! I still have to raise $92 to be able to ride.

Let's keep on donating, even a few bucks will start to add up to great amounts. You can slip me a few bucks when you see me or donate online here. Help me to be one of these riders above!

Thanks again everyone!
