National Pharmacy Week

K. It's been a LONG time since I posted last but I am back to posting again! I promise...whether you like it or not. :)

Last week was National Pharmacy Week! Yay for Pharmacy!

Just a few cool facts about Pharmacy!

Did you know????.......

• Pharmacists invented Coca-cola, Dr. Pepper, Pepsi, Root Beer and improved Ginger Ale?!
• They also invented baking powder, matches, Worchestershire sauce and the fire extinguisher!
• (Where would we be without Worchestershire sauce?!!)
• Vice President Hubert H. Humphrey was a pharmacist.
• They are one of the top 3 trusted professions since 1989 (yay!)
• Pharmacists can give vaccinations!
• The first appearance of a pharmacist on the big screen was NOT Desperate Housewives! It was "It's a Wonderful Life"
