Ben and his Toys

Well, It's about time for a post about Ben. ;)

He has acquired a new project.

 

He is the proud new dad of a bouncing baby blue '67 chevy. This is his ultimate truck.

It's got bucket seats and AC.... that's pretty much all I remember him really really loving about it. haha.

Anyway, he is in process of putting back together the 69 Chevy to prepare for it's adoption by a new family.

He enjoys the time he spends researching how to restore it and watching his dad actually do it. :)

I am glad he is able to continue to enjoy his hobby despite the circumstances and treatments.

Finding things you can enjoy individually is so important in life.You need to find something to get you up in the mornings.

Whether mountain climbing or crossword puzzles.... it doesn't matter as long as you love it. :)

Pure Laziness

...that's why I haven't blogged in a bit.

Here is a factory picture of my new sweet ride. The color is light graystone pearl. It is quite nice.

I feel stupid driving a brand new car though. No one needs a brand new car. Sheesh. I think i deserve it though after so many years of hard work. ;D

(Plus it's cheaper than what we had before and we have less debt! Cha-ching!)

Here is the interior. I personally am a cloth seat person but I decided that leather will be much more child-proof. I am actually really liking the leather too!

Cherokee Bought

Someone got a new Grand Cherokee.... (but we traded in two of our other cars and have much less debt now! Saweeet!)

We just sold the Cherokee. Financial Freedom here we come!

Are you a Twilighter?

So, I'll let it be known...I'm a little obsessed with the Twilight series - Enough to check Stephanie Meyer's website (www.stepheniemeyer.com) every so often to see new updates on the upcoming film (Dec 12!). Anyway, she has listed the cars that are featured in the book and given links to see them. So, Emmett's jeep is none other than one built by our very own Teraflex. See the pic below. Interesting...
